Green Plants

Green Plants

Green plants add beauty, colour, peaceful energy and feel-good to any place you want to spend time, either at work or in your home.

They can really improve our surroundings in so many ways, not just as air-purifiers, but also because they create a sense of harmony and tranquillity.

Interacting with green plants has also been shown to have a positive effect on our psychological and emotional well-being by lifting our mood, boosting our creativity and reducing stress.

Not only humans benefit from having more green plants around! The whole planet does too!

Plants absorb carbon dioxide during photosynthesis (a process where green plants convert sunlight, carbon dioxide and water into glucose and oxygen) so they actually act as natural “carbon sinks” which lower the concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere.

The world need more green plants, because each one is doing it’s little bit to help protect our planet’s balance and reduce the impact of climate change.

Here’s one other fact you may not have known: Green plants also help to moderate temperatures in urban areas through a process called “evapotranspiration”. They release moisture into the air via their leaves, which cools the surrounding environment and minimises the “heat island” effect, so green plants can actually make your living and working space more comfortable too!
